Baby steps

April 26th, 2011 | By Christine in events, personal | No Comments »

Maira Kalman came to the office today and I shook her hand. Oh em gee.

One of my former Pratt teachers called me, and it was so good to hear her voice.

I left work at 5:30 to volunteer at the AIGA event, where I saw old friends and learned a lot. And had free pizza.

Talked to two other friends (Liz and Heidi) I haven’t had time to catch up with in awhile.

And my college roommate scored in the 97th percentile on her MCAT! (Random, but great.)

Taking baby steps back to normalcy, but even better. It was an amazing day.
